Review from Carl Franklin
Southern Utah University
In this text, I found more than just a story of success from someone struck with a physical disability in their adult life. As the graduate program director in public administration at a state university, I am always looking for great material for our students. A number of our courses deal with disability issues, but there is not always a good selection of text to use in these classes. By the end of the first chapter I knew that The Blind Visionary would be helpful to our students. . . .
After reading the book I added it to our curriculum list and have recommended it to several of my academic colleagues. I can see this book being a great addition in classes for both public and business administration. It is an excellent addition to human resource management, public policy, business management, and many other courses.
